The 2026 KINGBOLEN S608 is the upgraded version of the S600. It is a bidirectional OBD2 scanner covering Engine, ABS, SRS, and Transmission systems, with active test, 9 maintenance resets, and lifetime free Wi-Fi software updates.

Bidirectional Active Test

Bidirectional control sends commands to ECUs to perform functional tests and check actuator working status for Engine, ABS, SRS, and Transmission. This helps locate faults quickly without teardown. Example tests include ABS solenoid test, fuel injector activation, throttle actuation, coolant pump test, EVAP test, fuel trim reset, and transmission shift solenoid test.

The active test menu varies by vehicle make, model, and year. Only operations supported by the vehicle systems are displayed.

• Auto VIN works on most 2006+ vehicles, not all models.
• FCA AutoAuth account and Renault physical token must be purchased by the buyer.

• Warning lights can be reset only after the underlying fault is resolved; otherwise the light stays on.
